Yesterday reports that Adam Orth, the guy who somehow caused this shitstorm, is no longer at Microsoft.

This is exactly why Cliffy B is no longer respectable in the gaming community. He forgets there are still people all over the nation who can’t afford having internet at all times.

  • People serving overseas who just try to blow off steam and play a game
  • People who are under-budgeted for an internet service
  • People who might have constant outages because of bad services as well
  • A lot like me, who don’t always like being involved with the internet and like to relax in a good single player game

Cliff Bleszinski, we simply do not have the resources or the infrastructure for an “always online” console. You need to realize there are bigger issues here.
